The inaugural Taquiza will be held on October 19th 2019 where we will crown Chattanooga’s best taco with the Golden Taco award voted on by festival attendees! What is a Taquiza? A taco party of course! La Taquiza is a traditional meeting with family and friends to enjoy different tacos typically set up as a buffet. Our version will allow family and friends to enjoy different tacos from all of our fabulous Chattanooga businesses! This flagship event will highlight the taco as well as the creative culture and diversity of our community. The festival has a greater purpose, however, this event was created to be a signature event for La Paz Chattanooga. Proceeds from this event will go to fund our language and education programs. Join us for good company, entertainment and TACOS! Don’t taco ‘bout it, Be about it!
